May 2010: GalleryBar Silent Auction

EGBOK Mission continues to raise the bar. More supporters filled GalleryBar on Manhattan’s Lower East Side—more than 200 in all—than have attended any other EGBOK Mission event so far. Cambodian arts and crafts were on sale and dozens of donors contributed gifts for a silent auction. Including online and mail donations, the first fundraiser held in New York raised more than $10,000 for Cambodian students who hope to earn jobs in the country’s growing hospitality industry.
