Jay Cohen, Kelvin Chia Partnership

Curious students peppered Jay Cohen with more questions about what it’s like to be a lawyer than about any other profession so far. The only thing students knew about lawyers is what they could remember from Hollywood movies. Cohen used his expert understanding of Cambodia’s legal system to give an overview of the very complicated rules that govern local small businesses and the hospitality industry.

Dozens of students who hope to earn positions in hotels, restaurants and other hospitality-related businesses also received basic explanations of the rights employees have in a workplace and information about what it means to follow the rule of law.
