The EGBOK Mission Learning Center

The new Learning Center in Siem Reap, Cambodia is an all-encompassing education, training and resource center for EGBOK Mission students, alumni, staff, volunteers, visitors, donors, supporters, community partners and affiliates. The daily operations of the Learning Center are focused on providing EGBOK Mission’s high impact services, which support the underprivileged young adults in our program with the education, training and opportunities that empower them to become self-supporting, independent individuals through their hospitality careers.

The yearly operational cost of the center is $12,000. We do hope that supporters can continue to make an impact through a small Monthly Gift.

The goal: $1,000 per month in Monthly Gifts, or $12,000 per year.

In Cambodia, 30% of the population lives on less than 45 cents per day, your small Monthly Gift enables sustainable poverty alleviation for young adults in Cambodia through training them in an industry that has grown over 1,000% since 2005 and is only projected to keep growing.

You are lifting them out of poverty and placing them in jobs that are economically practical where they can grow as professionals of hospitality and tourism. Because of you, our graduates now earn an average yearly salary of $1,668; almost triple that of the average Cambodian family.
