Jobs

As hospitality encompasses many aspects of both service and business, the comprehensive exposure we provide will help direct the students toward a career path of their choice.

The hands-on teaching offers students an opportunity to learn and practice pertinent skill sets that will make for successful careers overall.

Students work toward positions in food services, accommodations and tourism.

Jobs available to students are:

Food Services: Servers, hosts, cooks, bakers, and bartenders with cafes, coffee shops,
catering companies, bars, and restaurants.

Accommodations: Front desk agents, bellhops, concierges, housekeepers, engineers, and reservationists with hotels, guesthouses, casinos, and resorts.

Tourism: Travel agents, tour guides, drivers, and spa personnel with cruise lines, airlines,
and tour companies.

While the skills these jobs require are useful in the hospitality industry, they are also transferable to other professional areas that focus on customer service. This includes areas of marketing, human resources, finance, accounting, law and real estate, among others.

Being applicable to many careers, our hospitality training program is designed and intended to serve as a spring-board toward various career paths; the students do not need to enter the hospitality career field exclusively. Rather, the intention is for the students to build on the hospitality skills they acquire and use them to succeed in whatever course they choose.

We recognize the importance of individual needs as we assess each student individually and seek to match their strengths with their personal career interests to ensure long-term personal success. That’s our No. 1 goal.
